Reasons for canceling video streaming service subscriptions worldwide 2022
As of June 2022, a study revealed that the main reason for terminating an SVOD subscription had to do with price, as 28 percent of respondents worldwide stated to pay for too many services already and one in four said that it is too expensive. Content has become a growing issue for subscribers as well and 23 percent of people interviewed to the survey said that they had canceled or considering a cancellation because not enough new content has been added. Meanwhile 21 percent had done so because their favorite show has been removed.
